"I Am the Vine, You are the Branches," said Yeshua.
We are now a part of Him. We are parts of the body of which He is the whole (I Corinthians 12:12-30.) Once we receive Him and believe He is in us, we receive power to do what our assigned body part does. We are in Him; we are now a part of Him. He is in us, and is all the good that we are and light that we have. Christ is over all, in all, and through all (Ephesians 4:6.)
This is where it gets even better. Now that we are a part of Him, we are welcomed into His Holy Family. By faith, we are able to join in on all the power, wonder, and blessings of being filed under "Yahweh." Many of which He wants us to wake up to, but many are not walking in His Fullness.
Originally, Yahweh's covenant with the humans He made was given to the people Israel, and they were the only ones doing life according to His Instructions, and because there needed to be years of prophecies validating Yeshua as the Savior of humanity, Yeshua hadn't come yet. Therefore, Israel had to pay for their own sins with a sacrifice. Eventually, after hundreds of years of prophecies telling of One who would come to bear Israel's sin and reconcile them to Yahweh, Yeshua came on the scene, and, being Jewish, taught the Jews about another sheepfold that was not of theirs. Nevertheless, that sheepfold will hear His voice and become one flock with one Shepherd.
The Gentiles (anyone not Jewish) have been Grafted in! (Romans 11:11-31, specifically 17.) They are now branches that grow on the VERY SAME tree that Israel always has been, and are now united, sharing the same "root of richness." We are joined into being His children! When we read a promise to His child Israel in the word, it is also for Christians. We have been grafted in. Praise God!
