Last week, Vanessa and I kept getting blessed with God's favor. He's been so good in presenting us with every need prior to our mission trip. From basically gifting us our new Go-Pro cameras to maneuvering us with impeccable timing, our Lord has been showering on us His favor.
Vanessa and I finally started talking about this late last week, and several confirmations surrounded our conversation.
Mini-confirmation 1: There was a message in Church that "grace isn't fair". Neither are the spiritual blessing that accompany it--among them, His favor!
Mini-confirmation 2: A particularly uplifting word was released on the Elijahlist. It emphasized that God was about to give His people "Inexplicable favor". We were blessed to see this fulfilled! And we can trust that God is going to do so much more in the future.
Mini-confirmation 3: A recent Rick Warren devo talked about sharing your spiritual gifts with others. He gives us favor so that we can share it! He gives us more than enough, so that we can be well supplied in the harvest field. God wants to send us out.
"Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:38
"For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift." John 1:16
We receive these things out of His fullness. If we are not also filled accordingly, then we may not be receiving all that God has for us. Do you want blessings that overtake you along the way (Deuteronomy 28:2)? Do you want inexplicable favor? Then yield your lives to Him, and watch as He blesses all that you do.
